What does LEGO sound like?

A small avalanche when a 4-yr old tips out their entire collection of bricks and pieces onto the floor perhaps?

When we answer the phone, the LEGO Group sounds Fun, Reliable, Knowledgeable and Engaging (F,R,K,E or 'Freaky' as the advisors here like to say...) We decided five years ago that this is how the LEGO Group's values translate into a way of talking to our consumers and we've never found a better way to explain our culture.

It might be possible to train new staff to be Reliable and Knowledgeable, but being Fun and Engaging comes from the heart. Only employees who are having fun and feel engaged will be able to deliver the premium experience we and our consumers expect so we try to recruit staff who will fit culturally. Once you've got an enthusiastic, friendly team of natural rapport builders who are proud of where they work and what they do, all that remains for the management team is not to screw it up!
