Museums Sheffield

Museums Sheffield is the trading name of Sheffield Galleries & Museums Trust. We are a team of 140 lead by Chief Executive, Nick Dodd and a board of Trustees chaired by Sandra Newton.

We were created in April 1998 to take over the management of four museums in Sheffield from the City Council. The organisation is an independent trust funded by Sheffield City Council, Museums Libraries and Archives Council and Arts Council England.

We are a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee.

Museums Sheffield employs staff in a wide range of roles at our various sites in and around Sheffield city centre - Millennium Gallery, Graves Gallery, Bishops' House and Weston Park.
